The pandemic hit small businesses hard all over the world. Restrictions and lockdowns led to decreases in sales and customers – forcing some to close entirely. One of the industries that were affected was the bakery industry.
The brief was to, when restrictions facilitate, remind customers to stay cautious and keep keeping distance to each other.
The solution was to create a 2 meter (6.6 ft) long baguette for bakeries to sell. The length would represents the advised distance from which you should keep from others according to authorities. A not so subtle reminder that bakeries are reopening, but at the same time a tool that forces people to stay out of your baguette distance.
